Lightweight Integration on the Web

Abstract
Information integration, application integration and component-based software development have been among the most important research areas for decades. The aim of integration is that of creating new software products by integrating existing components and data, rather than entirely re-doing development from scratch. The last years in this area have been characterized by a particular focus on Web services, the very recent years by the advent of Web mashups, a new and user-centric form of integration on the Web.
ComposableWeb aims at bringing together researchers and practitioners with different research interests and belonging to communities like Web Engineering, Service Engineering, Business Process Management, Databases, Semantic Web, Software Composition, and Software Engineering.

May 12, 2009: According to the program of ICWE'09, ComposableWeb'09 will be held on Tuesday, June 23, 2009, in San Sebastian, Spain. Please find there the full program of the conference.
April 17, 2009: Given the unexpected migration of the EasyChair system to new servers (as announced on the EasyChair login page) authors might have encountered some problems with their submission. Just to be sure that all interested authors are able to submit their works, we will close the submission system only on Sunday, April 19, 2009.
April 8 , 2009: The deadline for the submission of workshop papers has been extended! Please note the new dates: submission within April 18, notification on May 11, and camera-ready due on June 1.
February 2, 2009: Preliminary Programme Committee published. First Call for Papers distributed throught the main mailing lists.
January 22, 2009: ComposableWeb'09 accepted for co-location with ICWE'09. Workshop web site goes online.
